Empowering Girls, Building Futures.
Our Mission
Our History
Young Women’s Empowerment Foundation (YWE), founded in 2004 and incorporated in 2005, has supported thousands of vulnerable youth through our Empowered 2 Excel (E2E) mentoring program, workshops, and conferences. We provide social-emotional enrichment, financial assistance for college and careers, and guidance to help our graduates thrive in education and beyond.
Many of our (E2E) program graduates are currently attending college, vocational training or now soaring successfully in their careers.
YWE is dedicated to doing whatever it takes to remove obstacles and support young women in their journey toward success. By collaborating with local schools, community organizations, and faith-based groups, we create a robust support network that enables youth to realize their highest potential. We also extend our efforts to educate parents on effective parenting and leadership skills, ensuring a strong foundation at home.
Our Programs
We cover a wide range of topics designed to foster growth, resilience, and a positive self-image:
